Sharon G. Scales

Sharon G. Scales joined Hyde Law Firm in July 2024 as a Client Service Representative. She brings 17 years of experience at the Spartanburg County Courthouse, where she began as a Deputy Clerk in the Clerk of Court Office and later served as Administrative Assistant to Judge Gordon G. Cooper in the Master-in-Equity Office. She also has experience working in the Solicitor’s Office.

During her courthouse career, Sharon worked closely with attorneys, their assistants, judges, and members of the public. Her responsibilities included scheduling hearings for Judge Cooper, electronically filing court orders, and answering phones.

Outside the office, Sharon enjoys photography, especially weddings, portraits, and landscapes. She also loves South Carolina history and photographing historical places. Her favorite place to visit is Edisto Island, South Carolina, where she enjoys shelling and exploring the beaches.
